On the availability of the LettError’s FontFonts after their release from Monotype in 2023.
What happened after…
On April 1, 2023 the last remaining distribution agreement between LettError and Monotype® ended. It had not been my choice to sell my fonts at Monotype® and it was time to leave.
For designers, by designers
It was a pleasure to work with FontShop® and the FontFont® library sure kicked ass in those days! So many brilliant minds, focussed engineers, writers, dedicated designers, marketers and conference organisers! It is a shame the company had to end the way it did.
I have carefully taken all the classic titles off the shelf, dusted them off, retouched them, applied some new trademarks and made them available again as the LettError fonts they truely always were.

About the names shows the updates to the names of the LettError FontFonts® and their availability.
“Monotype® Channels”
Monotype® has sold the FontFonts® through various channels such as (but not limited to) MyFonts.com, Fonts.com, FontShop.com, FontFont.com. But also their various font synchronisation and enterprise distribution tools. Collectively these are called “the Monotype® channels”
“LettError FontFonts®”
The fonts designed by LettError, published as FontFonts® between 1989 and 2013 are:

When Monotype® acquired FontShop® in 2014, these titles became available at various Monotype® channels. This ended in 2023.
“Normal license”
A one-off, non-recurring, non-library, non-enterprise, non-bundle, non-subscription license for one of the LettError FontFonts® through one of the Monotype® channels.
“Subscription”
A license with recurring fees for one of the LettError FontFonts® through one of the Monotype® channels. For web, app, desktop, enterprise.
