The diagram shows all characters of all our fonts, sorted by height/width ratio. So regardless of actual size, the long and thin characters end up next to each other, as well as the flat wide ones. And everything in between. Then all characters of one font have the same color, so you can tell how wide or thin certain fonts are by looking at the color of an area.
This picture looks a lot better in print, unfortunately.
